Sandager Golfklub is a public golf course located in a beautiful landscape in the countryside in Mid Zealand. Surrounded by trees and fields you might see a deer crossing the course in the early morning or a red kite circling above the 9th hole looking for prey.

It is situated only 15 minutes drive from the motorway near Sorø, the Zealand County Capital about one hour away from Copenhagen or Odense.

You will feel a warm welcome as a guest at Sandager, where the joy of golfing goes hand in hand with the joy of good company with nice people. The club is a small newly established club welcoming new members and guests alike and there will usually be people not only on the course, but also at the "19th hole" where there are seating at the terrace or in the clubhouse, where you can enjoy your own food and drink or buy ice cream, snacks and cold drinks in the shop. It is possible to preorder lunch or dinner from a local carvery but for planning and availability it must be ordered at least on week in advance if it is for more than four people.

The shop also has a selection of balls, gloves and other equipment as well as rental sets, trolleys and buggy.

The course is nine holes situated nicely in the rolling landscape making good use of the natural slopes and lakes to create an exciting and challenging course that can be enjoyed by the beginner as well as the more proficient golfers.

You will meet the challenge of three Par 3, four Par 4 and two Par 5 holes for a total of 70 (nine holes played twice) at a total length of 5120 from yellow or 4450 m from red tee, with a course rating of 69 and a slope of 127.

Green fees for playing 9 holes are DK kr. 180 and a full day for any number of rounds is DK kr. 270 (approximately 24,- and 36,- EU) - Aged under 18 is half price.

Outside weekend and holidays prices are reduced DK kr. 30,- (or 4,-EU).

Members from Castle Dargan Goflclub will receive a DK Kr. 30,- discount for 9 holes and 50,- for a day-fee as well as free rental clubs and trolley.

When you are in the area, "Kunstnergaarden" is really worth a visit. A nice place with interesting crafts and arts displayed in the gallery and a beautiful garden to see.
